May 13 2019 – Section 301 Tariffs (List 4) Being Considered

Additional tariffs on $300 billion of goods from China are being considered by the US government. This would add 25% additional tariffs on a new list of commodity codes. It is not expected to happen before June 24th. Latest release from USTR can be found HERE.

May 10 2019 – Section 301 Tariffs Are Increased from 10% to 25%

September 2018New Tariffs In Effect

The tariffs from the April 2018 announcement are in effect. These will begin as a 10% tariff, then an additional 15% tariff beginning January 1, 2019.

December 2018 – Extra 15% Tariff Postponed

The additional 15% Section 301 Tariffs that were supposed to take effect Jan 1, 2018 have been postponed for several months.
